Stomping on graves ain't it.
Yep. Ain’t is appropos.
I’ve been trying to manage my time on internet; trying to keep my mind clear; but of course I got pulled in again.
Hooked by the same hollow noise of faux-tiered-outrage.
Someone was tearing into James Van Der Beek’s family because his wife is “anti vax & MAHA”; then twisting his death into an anti‑capitalism sermon.
And the worst part: it worked. The engagement rose like smoke.
This is what social media can be; a soft stream of humanity or a pit where people stomp on the newly grieving in the name of “justice.”
Or spit cruelty in the name of patriotism & freedom.
A tired cacophonous choreography of us versus them.
Comparison as spectacle; contrast as sport; bitterness fed back to us by the algorithm until we mistake it for truth.
I know this rhythm. I was raised in it. Anything that happened to anyone; joy or tragedy; was met with commentary sharpened to wound, all under the banner of moral and ethical arrogance.
If your soul is so dim you need to stand on someone else’s pain to make your point; capitalism or socialism or any other ism isn’t the problem.
The reflection in the mirror is.
💚Sending the deepest of Love to The Van Der Beek family. Please ignore all the things from people who live in the us vs them world.
He is a beautiful soul.
